I grew up in a strict Christian household until I found out my dad was an alcoholic and my mom was depressed. I started having sex and I fell in love. Love consumed me until I was 18 years-old. I moved 3 hours away to college and I’ve not been the same since. I’m logical, I’m a jerk, I’m lazy, and I’m the girl all of the guys want to hang out with. I need a lot of attention, but I love to be alone. I cook my own meals every day; sit on Tumblr and waste away. I drink more vodka than my liver can handle and I enjoy the morning sunrise. I write prose and imagine it’s better than it is. I daydream of sitting on beaches with my toes in the sand while I’m lying in bed with my lover. I don’t really live as much in reality as I live in my imagination. I live every day hoping ceaselessly for something exciting to happen to wake me up.
What's your favorite thing to do when you're all by yourself? I know you never are but what if you were?

I like to make my messy bed, clean my room until it feels empty, turn off the tv and lights, and open my windows. I lie down with an open journal and a glass of wine by my side. I like to just sit and relax- soak up the loneliness. I’m rarely by myself, so I am fully aware that the moment won’t last forever, so it makes even more of an impact on me and my mentality. With every page I write, I smile more. And sometimes that’s the best- smiling when you’re all alone because then you know it’s real. And then I get on Tumblr.
